Attendence & Absence

Parents Should fill up the "Record For Non-Attendance" For each day the student is absent from school stating the reasons for absence.

A child who has been absent must bring a letter from the parent,addressed to the class teacher,stating the reson of absence.

Student who have been sick should bringa medical certificate from their doctor on joining school.A copy of the certificate is to be submitted and signed in the school clinical for follow up

A student,returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease.should produce a doctor's certificate permitting him to do so. Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class:
(a)Chicken Pox-till complete fallings of the scabs.
(b) Cholera-till the child is completely well
(c) Weeks after the rash disappears
(d) Mumps-until the swelling has gone; about one month
(e) Whooping Cough-six weeks
(f) Jaundice- Six weeks after recovery

Students who require medical attention during school hours, will be sent by the teachers to the school clinic with a written note.

Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for six consecutive days renders a studentliable to having his name struck off the rolls withoutany notice.

Regular attendance ensures steady acadmic and personality growth.
