Music & Dance Room
Music education plays an important role in a child’s overall development. It enhances intellect, social and emotional well being. Music offers creative challenges and aesthetic appreciation as well as self-expression and self-discovery.
To foster emotional and practical maturity, personal and intellectual development in students’, our school emphasizes on imparting appropriate music lessons in classical, folk and western genres. Practical maturity is gained by the students at DPS through music education where they learn time management, self-assessment, the ability to accept criticism and self-evaluation. Music develops critical thinking skills and make the students excellent problem solvers. Music is also a form of art, and DPS never falls short in finding and promoting individual’s talent of expressing his/her thoughts through the medium of art.
Music plays a vital role in fostering personality trails and helps students to enrich their intelligence which would lead them to the path of success.
Art & Craft
Art and craft is a creative, de-stressing activity for students. These activities cover a wide range of subjects for young artists, future artisanal book makers, potential puppeteers, and more. These activities help students to communicate their ingenious ideas. The selection of art projects, activities, and ideas also provide excellent inspiration. As their talent for a particular craft improves, they enjoy looking back at earlier creations to see how much they have improved, which boosts their confidence.
Cooking
Working on a Cooking project, Children learn to improve their teamwork, communication and social skills, as they learn to co-operate and communicate to complete their projects.
DPS Mathura gives a platform to all its budding artists to display their work in an exhibition.
